Here is our HoverflyPRO case for the black board, it is designed to protect your board from those unexpected, high velocity, less then graceful, upside down landings.
The case is made from HDPE sheet ½ inch thick, machined out to enclose the Hoverfly Flight Controller securely, safely and absorb vibration. An additional HDPE Stack is available to expand the Base V2 Case to hold the GPS expansion including an XBee Wire Antenna. An Acrylic Spacer ring is placed between the two stacks to allow the user to view the Hoverfly Flight Controller main board status LED indicator along with the GPS status indicator..
All Inputs and Outputs are laser etched on the lid, Company Logos and Text can also be engraved. A black and white image is required for custom engraving.
Changes include:
- Reduced main case height to .81 Inches still offers 360 degree protection.
- Acrylic spacer ring allows you to see mainboard status with GPS expansion onboard.
- Enlarged case holes now accept Hoverfly standard 8-32 screws for Hoverfly Hardware.
- GPS Expansion ring.
- GPS receiver case.

Yes, we do plan on making a case for the HoverflyPRo board with the GPS stack on it. The current case we have was actually designed with that in mind, so expanding the base case to include the GPS stack will be as simple as adding in another spacer that is designed around the gps.

Hello Guy, I must apologize I did not notice your original question. We are cutting a new batch of cases today with some modifications to it. After they are cut I will post the weight. Once again sorry for the delay in a replay.

Just weighed the case. The HDPE base, acrylic spacer ring and acrylic lid together weight 68.3 grams. Hope this helps.
