Our Grasshopper Family of Quadcopters and Multi-rotors has been designed to be modular, rugged and crash resistant. The frames plates and arms are constructed from 1/8th inch ABS plastics, which allows them to take a beating and not break while still being strong enough to provide an excellent flight platform. The plates and arms connect to each other in a way that minimizes any damage to the frame itself in all but the harshest of crashes. In most cases you simply need to replace two plastic screws quickly (we provide you with extras) and you are ready to fly.
The main plates for each type of frame have been designed to be able to use a standardized arm that can easily be switched from one frame to the next. This allows you to run many different frame configurations with out having to buy all new parts for each one, and to be able to quickly swap parts from one frame to another.
