Our Grasshopper V3 Hexa Frame Ready to Fly kit is the perfect entry point into the medium sized custom hexacopter market. The Grasshopper V3 is tuned perfectly for out of the box operation and includes a modular design that will allow you to adjust the kit to fit your needs perfectly. The Grasshopper V3 is suited for sport, FPV (First Person View), and light aerial photography work. We include GPS and Telemetry modules with the Grasshopper V3 Hexa, when used with mission planner software you can create full autonomous flight capabilities. This also allows you to view live flight data or replay flight data when you get back to your PC.

Customization

We understand completely that there are countless ways you can put to use our Grasshopper V3. Because of that we have designed the kit to allow for customization to fit your use. This starts with a completely modular frame design that with a different main plate will allow you to add or remove arms. You can go down to a three rotor or up to four or six rotors should you need to. On top of this the front of the Grasshopper has a double mounting plate which allows you to install any accessories like a FPV camera or anything else that you might need. For those who might be looking for more power, our frame is designed to support a wide variety of motors as well.

Durability

Crashes are bound to happen at times, especially when you are learning to fly. The Grasshopper V3 frame is made out of ABS making it strong but resistant to breaks. We also build the kit using nylon bolts to help absorb a hard impact. That means that on a hard landing the nylon bolts will break to prevent damage to other parts of your quadcopter. The GPS and the flight controller board are housed their own CNC’d High Density Polyethylene casings to prevent any damage to them on a hard impact as well.

Out of the box ready

Not only have we built and pre wired your Grasshopper for you but we have also completely tuned your setup to be sure you will get the optimum experience right out of the box. Each kit has been flight tested before being shipped to confirm it is ready to go. All you will need to do is install your LiPo battery (not included) and you are ready for your maiden flight.
